Not sure if it really goes with the word "sweet" although I will tag for that ;)
These are the first shoes of my kids.
The purple closed toe shoe was Nadya's. She went to a nursery 4 days a week and needed shoes although she did not walk. She walked with 14 months. These shoes are still in good shape after almost 21 years!
The black shoe was Demyan's. He needed shoes because he was walking with 10 months. They are almost 19 years old and unfortunately had to go in the trash as the black on the inside was coming off.
The shoe sole of pink one in the middle is totally falling off and was the reason I decided to take some photos before throwing them out. It was Yelena's first pair. Having had her brother walk with 10 months (they are a lot faster walking then crawling) I tried to delay her getting up by placing her in the middle of the room where she was unable to pull her self up. However, she figured a way to get up and walked with 10 months too.
Nadya and I have walking at 14 months in common! Oh how we hate to part with our children’s sweet things. I have mother’s and my baby shoes that mother had bronzed. I have Nick’s shoes which I have saved for 44 years to get them bronzed but I just haven’t decided that I should do that. He won’t want them I know. 🤣
