Vultures

On September 12th somebody left a plastic bag with a dead animal in a plastic bag. It probably was a cat or a dog. My dogs were very interested, so I walked pass it as fast as I could. The next morning the vultures were there to clean it up.
Every now and then Dino and Baloo still find a bone, because the big grass mower came and cut and spread the skeleton.

What a great picture! We've had lots of vultures at the lake, two are basically permanent residents under the house. One day when I arrived there was something large and dead in the street, I think a deer. By the next day, it was completely gone. They really are amazing. And some say they are a symbol of resurrection.
