Just a small note on the last photo: male Monarch have 2 black spots. One on each hindwing, but on my photo only one was visible.
This morning I needed to add some more milkweed as you can tell from this photo!
Number One, the tall one in the back, became really big and is eating his/her last snacks. They live in the habitat in my kitchen and because I just made lunchboxes, the (dirty) cutting board was a great background.
When I came home, Number One was climbing up the habitat. With a little luck I can take a photo tomorrow of him/her hanging, ready to become a pupa/chrysalis.
