I've used another from yesterday as I've been at work all day again. This is the doorway from the viewing room in the bonded warehouse where you can see all the barrels of whisky.
@gwhit123 - I Wish!! No, I'm a picture framer - I've decided to do more of the things that I never get round to. A tour of one of the local distilleries was top of my list!
@ingrid2101 oh right. my wife's from Edinburgh but since we've had the kids have not really been any further north (or west for that matter). at some point soon we want to tour the islands - there will be hopefully be more than one distillery tour!
@automaticslim The smells were gorgeous, in the malting room I was transported back to my grandparents farm just with the smell of the barley! Whisky's better though :)
@automaticslim - oh yeah, I love it how smells take you back. The glass of Red I had yesterday had a nose that takes me back to the cellar itself, that musty rich smell of the earth mixed with fresh bright cabernet grapes, plump full of juice. The sense of smell is quite an amazing thing when you think about it.
T @abhijit @pflaume @alceyone @janpenny @primitiveprobe @konradkoszucki thank you for the comments - much appreciated :)
