Great sun coming through the clouds yesterday, out a run to the East Mainland of the island - this is close to where my grandparents had a farm. i spent as much time there as I could, total freedom in the 70's.
Thank you Jase - just as well I like the sea! Actually I love it and I can't live away from it - tried once but I need to be near it, you probably understand that :)
@nikolinadimitrova Thank you Nikolina! @dcph Thank you, the changeable weather here makes that easy! @amyspada Thank you Amy - that's what made me stop - I was on my way somewhere else @annethomson Than you Anne - a bit tricky shooting into the sun so managed to wait until it went a bit @denidouble Thank you - it was far from tranquil yesterday! I'm glad it feels that way though! @dave_rv Thank you Dave - moody seas here! @endrem Thank you Endre - It was baltic - I can't wait for summer!
@sheilag Thanks Sheila - I love days like that, a bit rough but not so bad you can't go out although I was up on the cliffs later and if the wind had changed... Gulp @3sixty5@jacjacs68@kmgally@paign Thank you for your comments = much appreciated :)
@mizhayz Thank you - It is foam it was actually a very windy day and it was splashing right up -must get a pair of wellies, came home with soaking feet - again!
@gwhit123 Thank you George :) @rennes Used to have a love/hate but getting older and having children makes you appreciate the quiet and safety! All the things that bored me growing up here! @3whiteroses@kaiakate@margiec@julieb65 Than you for your lovely comments!
@jameshislop In camera it was reading really high about 1/500th on 400 asa flml so I took it down to 1/250th and that was at f22 as well. It's quite often guess work as I get frustrated by too much tech
Beautiful sky and light. How do you like the HP5? I got two rolls with a pack of paper I picked up last week. I intend to enlarge a negative or two before the month is up!
@spankyjane thank you Mel, much appreciated @cmc1200 Thanks Caryn I use HP5 a lot as it can be quite dark here so I prefer working with slightly faster film - to be honest I've never used a huge variety of brands - before the internet you used what was available but I just got a suppliers catalogue today with an order and loads of film I'd like to try. Glad to hear you're going to print some - I'm hoping to do the same. Look forward to seeing what you do
@cromwell Thank you :) Like your work, keep saying I won't follow any more as it's trying to keep up with everyone then an image jumps out and I have too :)
I am so in love with this image Ingrid, can't describe how very well it goes with my music on the background. Fav obviously. Blast it up : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcL7UemRuWU
Know exactly what you mean about how what we value changes - I love my home town now, but if someone could just arrange for a beach to be dropped at one end of the street and snow-capped mountains at the other, it would be perfect! : )
@frida Wow Frida that is awesome thank you - never heard it before but have saved the link and thank You!! @rennes I know Lisa - you get to see so much of the world through people's work on here - just makes me want to travel everywhere! @konradkoszucki Thank you Konrad! @jessfresh78 Thank you Jess :) @alceyone Thank you Anne !!
Certainly a fav! I love film, I love black and white and I love portrait landscapes! I'm going to make this the background on my phone, hope you dont mind I just properly love this picture!
