I used my last few sheets of peel apart film in Stromness today, you can still buy it but few remaining and just too much money. The marks top and left are where it's on the scanner
Camera Polaroid pinhole
Film Viva
Exposure 3 seconds
This should be a linjk to the camera
Great combination of the slowing of time and the solidity of the wall and buildings. The darkness of the wall beneath the building really anchors the shot. Nice.
@masosy Thank you Kate! It is nice film and it's discontinued! :( @miley89 Thank you! @adamj Thank you Adam - it's sooc though , just scanned it ! @annethomson Thank you Anne, I wish I could compliment people the way you do , you have such a beautiful way with words, very poetic :)
@gwhit123 Thank you George, it's the opposite actually - I'm finding it much more liberating as I'm just accepting what turns out rather than spending ages deciding what to crop etc etc.
@mizhayz That's the Pier Arts Centre, a fabulous gallery with an incredible collection of 20th C art - especially for a group of islands with a pop. of 20,000. It was gifted to Orkney by philanthropist Margaret Gardiner and I love it!
Love this one, the composition is fantastic for a pinhole photo. Agree completely with you about the ease of using film, I can see myself reverting to it for most of my outdoor photos. There are definite advantages to digital for my low light still life stuff though, no reciprocity failure for starters!
@automaticslim Thank you, I started this thinking I'd need to get a digital camera but film feb has made me realise how much I love film. Also frees you from the whole must take & post on the same day mind-set that I had to start, but I'd probably still get a digital sometime!
@miley89 Thank you!
@adamj Thank you Adam - it's sooc though , just scanned it !
@annethomson Thank you Anne, I wish I could compliment people the way you do , you have such a beautiful way with words, very poetic :)
Thank you all - and Angela love what you said!
