Driving home from the beach yesterday and found a puddle with a derelict shed reflected in it - stopped the car and turned round to get this. No groans from the back of the car - they're used to it now. Been wanting something for the technique 4 challenge of inverted reflections - thank you rain.
Processed a fair bit as sky was too dull
Sometimes I come across shots on here that just take my breath away.
At first glance I thought the sky had gone really strange ( @riverlandphotos put it rather well) and didn't even realise it was an inverted reflection. Then I read your description and my brain had great fun rejigging itself to accommodate the new information and updated situation. Love it when that happens. Another fav from me.
I thought I'd commented on this already but found myself back here and I obviously didn't. Its even better second time round. Love love the imperceptible fade from ground to sky Fav
Such a cool inverted shot Ingrid - love it! The textures of whatever that puddle is on are gorgeous - so worth turning the car around for - impressed there were no groans!! : ) fav
