derelict inverted by ingrid2101

derelict inverted

Driving home from the beach yesterday and found a puddle with a derelict shed reflected in it - stopped the car and turned round to get this. No groans from the back of the car - they're used to it now. Been wanting something for the technique 4 challenge of inverted reflections - thank you rain.
Processed a fair bit as sky was too dull

Ingrid, what a wonderful reflection! This is so intriguing and I think the processing you've used adds to the wet, gloomy weather feel. :)

Sometimes I come across shots on here that just take my breath away.

At first glance I thought the sky had gone really strange ( @riverlandphotos put it rather well) and didn't even realise it was an inverted reflection. Then I read your description and my brain had great fun rejigging itself to accommodate the new information and updated situation. Love it when that happens. Another fav from me.

Fabulous inversion! Love the effect of the roadway in what is now the sky! The gray part creates such drama. Wonderful find and capture.
