My get pushed challenge was from Debbie to take a portait of a human or animals. New laptop, old one was completely unworthy repairing. Picked this up after work and have only been able to get on now so made a deal with my daughter, she could have a shot in return for me being able to take her photo. I found this a hard challenge as there is a shortage of willing models and too busy. Trying to do this project without a reliable computer has been a real pain. I took this photo with the Koloid - it simulates the wet plate photography. You "develop" the image with a pool of virtual chemicals and stop when you feel it's had enough. I then processed in snapseed. Thankfully the computer shop transferred most of the data from my hard drive however there are differences which I must get used to.
Thank you Debbie for the challenge - hopefully I'll get more over the weekend
Just noticed there doesn't seem to be exif data any more. Must get this set up exactly the same as last laptop
Such a beautiful image of your daughter Ingrid - that was a great deal you made with her! ; ) Love you virtual darkroom - have fun with your new computer! fav
fantastic shot, it just looks so intense. Having about half of the shot as almost total blackness looks so good, and the way the light has caught her skin really makes this look three dimensional to me, wonderful texture. I love the focus on this too. I really thought this was shot with an ancient film camera of yours, until I read the tags list! a fav
Gorgeous processing and mood. Fav.
