Reworked one from earlier this year as I was never happy with the scanned colour. Having PS means I can adjust so much. As the original print is disappearing due to non fixing then I reckon it doesn't matter if it's totally different. I went on a murder mystery tour at my childrens school tonight. I really didn't expect it to be scary but I'd forgottten how easily frightened I am. I used to love horror films/books when I was younger - couldn't get enough but my imagination gets the better of me and I had enough. The worst was 28 days later, I mean running zombies broke all the rules...nooooo.
So I spent 40 mins alternating between being tense/screaming/laughing. Great fun and really well done.. my daughter thought it was hilarious. Went back with my friend to hers and talked for far too long so a very late post and will do more catching up tomorrow
really pretty. I'm deciding to do something this winter, to try to put my heart into it again a bit. Watching short films about master photographers is making me want to get out with a camera and do something different. Must admit I've been back on this site everyday, these last few days, looking for inspiration perhaps. 59 days to go for your 365 year! Anything left to explore or have you already mastered enough techniques?, 59 photos, funny when you think its a lot less than only two rolls. I'm wondering about coming on here next year maybe, but there seems to be a lot of arses on here now. You planning on staying on, or the dreaded switch to flickr? Great shot btw.
Gorgeous - love your lumen prints! Looks like it is blowing in the breeze! I used to hide behind the sofa or a cushion when I watched Dr Who (when the monsters were made from recycled washing up bottles) - self-confessed wimp! : )) fav
@chewyteeth Hey come back :) I haven't mastered anything, just tried loads and flittered about with various things. The only thing I can do with my eyes shut is 35 mm. Flickr - mmm, I like it and see some amazing work on there, it's just another photoshare though. This place is kind of special- I never thought I'd have online friends a year ago- that was for my gaming kids. So i'll definately be staying on - haven't done the true 365 but I don't actually care as it was always about photography and not discipline. But yeah 2 rolls - that's nuts. go on get back on - need more film on here .
I'm very tempted, just as more of a driver than flickr is. I'll prob keep a low profile though, no poking the Christian war-mongers on the discussion threads. I dropped a bollock today, finally a camera that works, a mint XD5, I was cleaning the body and boom, busted my toothbrush right through the shutter curtain. FUCK! so off to get it fixed tomorrow. absolute nightmare of a month for cameras, eBay has had its day for me (maybe)
@chewyteeth Ewww - saw your post on Film Photographers - didn't feel right to "like" it . What a bitch, it was your sarky comment on a post though that made me realise who you were - I burst out laughing and Stuart asked so I said something about Chewyteeth and he showed me the ebay listing - it was a wwyd post . I looked up the mw camera shop- pretty good prices and at least they'll work. And I do find this place more of a push - no-one on flickr cares if you were to disappear for months. And the discussion boards are boring I saw a link to an old one - different time - missed out I think!
@chewyteeth this is the problem with sleeping with your arms around cameras, you wake up and poke them! GAS = General Anaesthetic Services. The buggers bill you for the really good stuff.
@ingrid2101
yeah it was smashing once cleaned up. off to get it fixed now. Those minolta XDs (XD,XD5,XD7,XD11) I can't big them up enough. superb cameras for £30-50 absolutely beautiful. As long as you don't break them.
Fantastic shot, really love it! I can't do anything scary, makes everyone around me laugh how I jump at the slightest change in music or scream at what was totally expected - still can't help it!
in too : )
