clouds and water

Well there can only be one way to finish and that's a reflection flipped. I took this on Sunday, this is marshland that we passed on our walk to Hoxa. I was really torn between this and another one. I nearly screwed this up, had b&w chems ready to pour in the tank and was checking the development times, couldn't find this film listed on the ID11 chart - suddenly realised this is Kodak BW400CN film that is to be developed in C41 chems. Phew - just in time. I've also cropped this as I love square format and hopefully am going to buy a medium format camera soon. I have my eye on a Mamiya. Hats off to everyone who did this project by the rules - and well done to everyone who has reached 100% (or not) It's been such an enjoyable project to do, I would never have believed at the start of the year what I would get out of it. Have a great night , stay safe and see you next year.

Congratulations Ingrid!! I can't believe we are on the last day and what a brilliant final photo you have here. Love the flip and the thick, blurry tree line. It has been a true delight and education to follow your album. i feel like I have gotten to know you, too, and have really enjoyed that as well. Thanks for all your support and encouragement throughout the year. It has meant a lot to me. Happy New Year to you!

Love the effect this has on the trees. Congratulations on finishing - I can't imagine how much of a challenge it must be using film. I've found a lot of your work truly inspirational, and I look forward to seeing more next year. Happy new year!

Awesome, I just don't have the will power to do a proper 365. I might try again from tomorrow but it won't last.

You have been one of the highlights of 365 this year though, in a hi res mega pixel world you work and passion is always a refreshing change. Keep it up Ingrid, and all the best for you and family in the new year. And apologies for being a crap commenter of late, life got in the way a bit lately.

my secrets. bid 4 seconds from the end, bid an odd number over the nearest rounded off sum, i.e. bid 11.90 if its 8.50 to beat all the guys who think they're clever bidding £11. Go for things with lenses, the bigger the joblot the more you can resell from it and knock off the price. I think the light meter prism viewfinders which are alternative to the WLF are usually expensive aren't they so get one with its own already. spare 120 film backs and 35mm film backs are a good bet for things to sell so the more the merrier. Obviously avoid buy it nows, and open the search up to the eu because theres some great stuff in Germanby, avoid Italian stuff though and eastern european. Auctions which started low. You knew all this already but just thought I'd mention.

I love the tones. It is difficult to tell the reeds and the gaps of light between the trees apart in places, almost like it morphs from one thing to the other from left to right...

I often think of getting a medium format camera, but I don't have the facilities to process the film (35mm is expensive enough as it is!) I might get one for special occasions...
