I really wanted to stop here specifically to make an image like this, last time i was camping here I didn't own a digital camera and previous to that I took polaroids and pinholes... but I really wanted to do some nd filters and digital. I didn't have very long - my teenage daughter was with me and had tolerated my stopping every two minutes needing to take photos.
I love this area and never want to come home after - usually I feel love when I see Orkney after a trip away - unless I've been to the NW corner of Scotland.
The show I was in in Glasgow went well - had the opening and drove up the next day, taking our time over the weekend, had some feedback too and new contacts which is always lovely .
