Perfect place for practising panoramas

A beautiful day in the Lake District, we walked up into the hills and sat beside this mountain lake, Angle Tarn, which was surprisingly quiet.

After we'd admired the view and I'd messed about taking photos we wandered off along a high path for most of the afternoon to make the most of the gorgeous weather.
You are right - panoramas need depth and this is just what this lovely scene has!

@suesouthwood you can walk up from Patterdale or Hartsop by Ullswater, it's a steady climb but not too far to reach this point. It's such a beautiful setting.
