At lunchtime, my friend called and asked if I would go and pick up her son from school, he wasn't well and she was on her way to a funeral. No problem, I was just about to head out with the camera to capture some autumn colour while the sun was shining, but that could wait until another day.
He was fine, when I took him home later I remembered I'd seen this rose in their garden last week and meant to go back with the camera for a photo. Fortunately the camera was still in the car today so I was able to capture it to remind me of the day, the sunshine had gone but there were a few bonus raindrops!
