I was amazed by this incredible piece of street art on the walkway in the city centre, it looks so realistic.
It's an advert for the terracotta warriors exhibition that's currently on at the museum. The rain had already washed some of it way, it seems a shame that it will be so temporary, it must have taken ages to do.
When I looked at the photo I thought I should have asked my husband to lie on the path and appear to look over the edge, I'm sure he's glad I only thought of that when we got home :)
Goodness, me that is striking. Is it an advertisement for the exhibition? I saw these in London a few years ago at the British Museum when they were there briefly. Breathtaking. You have taken me straight back there with this.
@inthecloud5 Ah, wonderful. What an amazing piece of art! I wouldn't have thought of lying on the ground til later either probably!! Amazingly gifted, these pavement artists. All that for such a short period of time. At least you saved this one for posterity.
Did you go to see the terracotta warriors exhibition at the museum? We saw it in Sydney a few years ago, amazing.
The Terracotta Warriors make for a great subject.
Are you going to the exhibition?
