Keeping warm

We didn't intend to go to the park today but we were getting nowhere fast with our Christmas preparations so a bit of outdoor therapy was required.

The mandarin duck is still here, such a colourful sight and it doesn't seem to mind being photographed by every person that passes by.

I learnt today that birds stand on one leg to keep warm, a bit like us putting our hands in our pockets. Makes sense :)
