Had an interesting walk along the River Mersey, lots of wading birds in the mud flats as the tide went out and finches flitting about in the trees alongside the path. It took a long time to go a very short distance :)
We'd almost finished our walk when we saw there was some colour in the sky, just a slice of sun showed up for a brief appearance in between the clouds before it disappeared again.
