The light was poor for photos but we didn't want to miss an opportunity to see more wildlife so we took a stroll along the cliffs of Yell, Shetland's middle island.
We saw lots of seabirds and some other small birds including this Shetland Wren, which is a subspecies of the common wren that we see at home. It's larger and darker and they have a louder song. I don't know whether they are more grumpy, but this one certainly looked it!
