We intended to go for a walk today but the rain just refused to give us a break so we ended up driving around some of the lovely small villages in the northern Lake District.
Eventually there was a break in the cloud and we saw the sun, it was definitely the best time of the day to see it!
I love these old road signs, despite having sat nav in the car it would be easy to get lost on the lanes without being pointed in the right direction by these signs.
I haven't had chance to go out with the camera this week so it was good to have photograph or two from today's trip.
