Year 4 Day 6 by irishmamacita10

Year 4 Day 6

I've been wanting to try this for a while and it was only my first go at it but it just got me more excited to try again. With sub-zero temps outside, I mixed up some homemade solution and headed outside to see if I could freeze some bubbles. The first bubble immediately started to freeze before my eyes so I ran back in and grabbed my camera (and a kid to blow bubbles for me). We weren't out long because of how cold it was but I can't wait to do it again!
a fantastic shot. Fav.

At first glance in thumbnail size, I thought this was a photo of earth from space! Utterly beautiful - and I love seeing your reflection in there.
I tried freezing bubbles this week (northeast U.S.A) and had no luck. What solution did you use?

Awesome! It's not cold enough in Oregon right now to try this… but the second it is, I'm there!

I am so jealous! I can feel your excitement..blowing that first bubble..without the camera, just to SEE what it would do. And it froze! so you ran for camera. It is cold for the south here...I think it is 16 degrees right now, but not cold enough probably to do this. How cold is it there? fav
