Wheel and driveshaft, steam train. by ivan

Wheel and driveshaft, steam train.

This is a detail taken at the Bluebell Railway in East Sussex, UK.

Hope I've got the terminology right, you railway buffs (I'm not one, just take pictures!)

Early post as I'm not around tomorrow. Have a good weekend!
Super shot & beautifully processed .However I am not mechanical minded , but I love the design, shapes ,colour & texture of the structure

@beryl @sheilag @frankie_4711 @thresheg @gamelee @jayholm64 @padlock Thank you all for your nice comments, and the favs. Got to do it this way, been out all day, including visiting Tina's dad in hospital 20 miles away (and to give her a break), doing things I may not be able to do for a while, and I have to be up at 5.30 to get to my apptmt. at 7.30 tomorrow morning. It's all *** hospitals. Enjoying all your pictures, take care.
