Mark with a Cross

I hope the Brexit people know what they have done. Could be the beginning of the end for the UK...and for a united, peaceful Europe. (We voted IN, btw!)

Take care.
At least they have democratic choose for itThe problem with Brussels was : Als niets komt tot iets kent iets niets niet meer (+/- if nothing comes to something, something do n`t remember nothing any more )

Great illustration of the event.

In our household the division of votes between me and @shepherdmanswife reflected the the rest of the country. I'm saying no more... Interesting times!

I felt sad today, I had somehow thought we would make it, remain in the EU. Now more countries want a referendum, the EU is falling apart. Hopefully something better will come for it in the end, less stay optimistic.

I voted OUT Ivan, theres more to it that meets the eye as we say, God Save The Queen.????
June 24th, 2016
My family and I all felt very sad and depressed today... I would love to pack my bags and leave the UK now thats how strong I feel!

@tonygig Respect your patriotism, Tony. Best wishes.

@pyrrhula Best to work within to improve it, Ferry.
June 24th, 2016
@overalvandaan Thank you, I hope so. But we won't be able to join within my lifetime, I think. Love your country. Maybe we could join together with some others, like the old EFTA. We share so much history and way of life.

@bizziebeeme Thank you. That's how we feel too! And Boris in No 10 :(
June 24th, 2016
@shepherdman Thank you for commenting...and Trump getting in on the act now!
June 24th, 2016
@anazad511 Thank you.
June 24th, 2016
A great image to illustrate the severity of it all !!

Feeling sad today. Hoped your country would vote for remain.
June 24th, 2016
Well thank you for your sense in voting in. Where will England be three years from today I wonder?
June 24th, 2016
@Ivan You`re right but sometimes they need a loud wake up call. A lot of the Dutch people have the same feelings about Europ as it is to day.
June 24th, 2016
I absolutely agree with you - what have they done?
June 24th, 2016
Cool Pic and a telling narrative Ivan.

June 24th, 2016
We wondered which way your election yesterday would go. It's going to be interesting to see what happens next -- for sure. I like Judith, above, wonder if they know what they have done!!!
June 25th, 2016
Sad for your country...hoping things turn out better than experts have predicted. I like your documentary image.
June 25th, 2016
A big day for your country and for the world, it seems. Personally, I'm sorry - particularly for the young people there. Here's hoping for better, more united times soon.
June 25th, 2016
It was a sad day for all of us, too. But the will of the majority prevails. I hope the decisions made by the voters were after a well-informed study of the UK situation.
June 25th, 2016
I was with you Ivan, I have only one thing to say. "You reap what you sow", followed by farmer Boris and Farage.
June 25th, 2016
Ivan I am not sure what will happen over there now
June 25th, 2016
Nicely done, Ivan. Sorry, but we want our country back, not be under Germany's thumb.I have family in Greece and I see all the suffering of the Greek population so could not vote in.
June 25th, 2016
@carolmw Thanks, Carol, understand what you say, we can agree to differ :)
June 25th, 2016
@sangwann Thank you, Dione. Referenda/ums (!) are funny instruments of democracy. It's known people will take the opportunity to vote against someone or something they don't like, at a very simple level - e.g the PM, immigrants - not weigh up all the pros and cons and consequences of what the vote is about.

@bkbinthecity @ladymagpie @lubybee @taffy @aglennc @phil_howcroft @busylady @pyrrhula @frankhymus @gijsje @beryl Really appreciate your thoughtful responses to the image and situation we are now in. Thank you.

A sad result - and it looks like the financial uncertainty has already starrted.

hi Ivan. I am deeply deeply saddened and hurt by the direction which we appear to have chosen. Nothing makes sense to me anymore. There remains much to 'fight' for though.

Bob
Interesting that the odds-makers were more accurate than the polls taken. I leaned towards staying IN, but I didn't get to vote. Interesting times.

"EU Exit Spurs Shockwaves" --- The headline in our major San Diego paper this morning.
June 26th, 2016
I was shocked Ivan.
June 26th, 2016
@pickerandagrinner @aglennc @bobhuegel @helenhall @fishers @lubybee Thank you all, not least my American Friends. Value your friendship here on 365 and value the relationship between our countries, we have much in common, and much in common to defend. Best wishes
June 26th, 2016
@ivan We surely do have all that. Our political situation right now is in turmoil for sure. We'll be glad when all this campaign is over --- Either way it goes, it's a mess.
June 26th, 2016
@frankhymus Free! Free of an unelected goverment.
June 27th, 2016
Oh dear... sadly it seems to be so true!
June 29th, 2016
So much happening in the world these days. Been so caught up in our "circus" didn't really realize or understand what was going on in your world.
June 30th, 2016
Those Brits - there are over 1million of us - who live permanently in Europe have been cut loose without a life-belt... I shall be just another immigrant in France with no rights and no benefits :-(
June 30th, 2016
Stupid people are on the rise - almost everywhere. The conscientious folks have to work together to prevent even more damage. This decision is so harmful to so many people Im sure Brexit will not be implemented. I hope..
