I have no idea who lived here, so don't know their stories, their sorrows their joys. All I know is that every time I pass here it looks a little worse....
This haunting and beautiful. Their stories are there if you want to find them. I am giving this a Fav, and hope you stop off and walk around it some more.
@mothermalarky I have Carol the interior is filled with its own roof and upstairs all collapsed. We have an abundance of these abandoned houses in Ireland. I like this one as I pass it rarely so notice its slow decline. Thanks for both the comment and fav,,
Ah what the ghosts could share--perhaps these ancient dwellings fostered the humble beginnings of a Kennedy or a Reagan, maybe a McKinley, Jackson, Clinton, or Grant. I really like the oil painting texture with the muted colours. You've done a marvellous job! +fav
@golder365mjsmith Ireland has found an ansestoral home for all your presidents including Mr Obama ,whose ansestors on his mother's side came from Tipperarry .thanks for the fav& comment Michael
Another exceptional shot from you. I love the mystery of this one. Australia may have great weather, wildlife and beaches but we certainly do not have the historical buildings that you have .

Wonderful John, beautiful processing that really brings out the sense of time passing and having its effect. The lives of the past inhabitants are fascinating to speculate about. Fav
