When nature breaks in by jack4john

When nature breaks in

What broke the window? The bramble or time?
Old abandoned houses appeal to me because there is always a story lurking in the gloom. Here it was the bottles and the bramble coming in through the broken pane of glass. The room was tiny this its only source of light ......
Oh, this is just wonderful!!!! Love the comp, colors and well everything !!! FAV

Oh loving this John!!! Was this actually abandoned, and yet left decorated with those wonderful bottles?! Now notwithstanding that your image is absolutely perfect in every way, my quirky spin on it would have been to have left a single wildflower in one of the bottles... (mystery upon mystery for the next visitor...)

John, I'm leaving a note here for a returning 365 photographer @colorfade I think she'd like your work :)

I love abandoned houses! Too bad there isn´t many around where I live. This shot is so wonderful, love the light and detail and especially that broken in branch! A fav too :)

Hi there John :) Have landed at your page via the wonderful @Weezilou who I asked to recommend me some of her fav 365ers. She obviously knows my taste in photos VERY well as I'm loving what I see so far. This photo in particular is right up my alley. Mesmerizing details in just about every corner of this image. I'm especially loving the weed (blackberry bush?) finding it's way in through the broken window...

I imagine the bramble will be twisting around those bottles soon. I love old broken windows. Your processing is perfect as always.
