TURN YOUR BACK FOR ONE MINUTE

The work of artist Patricia Piccinini on display as part of the Galway Arts Festival, the lady with her back turned was not part of the piece,
ha! I doubt that young lad was supposed to climb up that piece ~~ looks like it should have tipped over! :O

@sitiodown I'm guessing the young boy is part of the piece. Interesting artist. I've never heard of her. The other one you (John) posted is really bizarre.

@mcsiegle ~ I never thought of that ~ you might be right! ;)

@mcsiegle ~ now that I think about it, with that artist, I'm SURE you're right ;)

Great capture of this strangely odd piece!

This is obviously well done but this sort obwork doesn't really float my boat... I'm referring to the artwork, not your picture of it ;-))

Thanks for giving me a chance to make several of my family members go "Ouch, he needs help!" :) The photo really tricked them.

Ha! Is this good or bad? Or...

@sitiodown @mcsiegle @linnypinny @vignouse @vera365 @mastermek the boy like the girl in the other picture is an extremely life like dummy, It works for me because it prevokes a response, good or bad so much modern art just leaves me cold this artist makes you pick sides..

I knew the little girl wasn't real because of the context ~ but this boy ~ I've seen many a child scramble up where they shouldn't be ~ and in the small photo of this, that was my first thought! She is very adept at getting people to first react, and then "think" with her artwork. I like it, too :)

The picture needs a cookie jar. Or this peace needs a cookie jar. The women makes the shot. Good eye.

well my first response as a mother, is panic. :o) and i agree with @wildernesswillie ... the woman makes it.

Beautifully imaginative.

I've looked at this image more than once (and the previous one as well).
I wondered if the boy was real or not, as I've seen kids try to climb many things they should not. It is definitely interesting art.

Hi, John, thank you for the follow.
Very clever piece of art, the suspense caused by the figure is agonising! Cool capture - like how you've caught the woman, her seeming obliviousness adds to the suspense.

Like many I just don't get modern art a lot of the time, but I do like this...and the woman in the background really makes this shot.
