public art

This is a piece of public art in our village . It is difficult to work out what it is supposed to say because the original version of it was removed,chopped up some nautical figures added and returned to us. While we are on the coast the village has no history of seafaring . In this country we got a lot of public art during the boom years, a lot of it now looks as bad as some of the towering retail outlets built in those years..
well its a very interesting shot anyway!

I see you are experimenting with the 9mm body cap lens. It works very well here. Totally agree with your comments about public art - that figure in the middle is surely Bart Simpson dressed as a mermaid.

Some kind of Metalhenge? Would be nice for this week's Dogwood challenge, which is Metal. I like the green color on the panels - adds a nice color hint.

Very interesting. The lens distortion makes it look like a wine barrel in bits

Love how you brought out the greens of the piece that compliment the green bench in the back. Great composition and processing!

Interesting artwork. Love the piece in the centre, a mermaid Neptune at a birthday party.
