first time shooting at sunrise. this is "my" lighthouse. I guess it is a symbol of the calm I feel when I get to Ludington where I was on my little vacation.
You have a lovely lighthouse. :) A scene like this one would definitely lend a sense of calm to the soul. Beautiful colors in both the sky and the water.
@vstap I have stayed in several hotels and motels. this time I stayed in a very inexpensive one called the Ventura which hadn't been updated since I would guess the 70s. It was only $55 for the night though lol! It is close to the city beach so I like that. there are a lot of B&B's in town as well and of course there are the chain hotels as well!
@flygirl thanks Dee. Wish I were still there : ) heading to Pentwater in August. by that time I will need it! have to shoot a wedding and am totally nervous about it. I can shoot peppers with no problem lol! groups of people in low light another story. my nerves will more than likely be shot! the Pentwater lighthouse isn't as visually attractive but it's good to change it up a bit. plus I will be with my two great nieces who will provide some other fun I am sure!
