@henrir I believe this is the female. She was flying with a male! She also looks quite round so I am thinking he was staying close as she might soon lay her eggs! Thank you!
Such a lovely picture of Mrs. Cardinal. The gals of this species don't often catch the camera's attention but your picture has captured her beauty so nicely.
