the canoes aren't getting a lot of business these days even with the extremely warm weather we've been having. lots of people bring their own kayaks and small boats to this area to paddle around or fish. it was a beautiful golden night on the lake and people were friendly. I met a couple named Pat and Patty who have been together 41 years. we discussed our beautiful state and they gave me a location to go see in the upper peninsula next summer. so nice!
