it is 11:22 pm...I think I still hear this one and it's partner out on the lake. they must be nesting somewhere out there as they are here each time I look out. this is a rare moment of separation as they are usually together. even trusted me enough to swim by in front of me as I sat on the steps photographing it. I hope everything is ok. last year's family lost one gosling. : (
