or yellow iris, yellow flag or water flag. june 4, the day my dad died 16 years ago. my brother-in-laws sobriety date...he's gone too. june 19th my brother died when he was thrown from his motorcycle and hit a tree. I try hard to find bright spots this month like these beautiful yellow irises down by the lake but it isn't easy, even this many years later.
