On Woodward Avenue, spanning several cities, a car cruise event was started as a fundraiser for a children's soccer field. It was the 31st year as it started in 1995. It is 16 miles in length and is attended by over 1 million people and 10s of thousands of cars, some new fancy cars and motorcycles and some old classics like this late 1950s Ford Thunderbird convertible.
