we have an island in the middle of the Detroit River called Belle Isle. It sits between Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario. If you take the bridge out to the island which houses a casino, a museum, an aquarium, an observatory and a boat and yacht club. this is looking back at the city of Detroit from the island. on the left third of the photo is the bridge over to Canada. The tallest building reflecting blue in the water is the GM building. It was a lovely 45 degree night and thousands of people came out to the island as they had open houses at all of the buildings for the holidays.
