rainy night, hopped in the car, drove to Detroit.
this is part of Corktown. the oldest historic district still in existence in Detroit. settled by many Irish after the potato famine, mainly from County Cork, hence the name Corktown. the business district her has become a huge draw for suburban Detroit.
I love night street scenes ... our local towns are so small there's really not much for main streets. Super leading line ... love that vanishing point with the lamp posts.
