as deathly afraid of water as I am I used to go fishing without a life jacket mind you with my dad in the dark morning hours in this boat. I went out to my brother's property today, helped him on the tiny house he is building and walked the acreage. came across this under a fallen tree...gave way to a fancier boat with a motor...man did it bring back memories. that combined with watching my brother and his son work together like my brother and dad did for so many years and then a lone cardinal in a tree (my sister's sign for my dad who passed away in 2005) just made for a rather emotional day. aluminum so it won't rust hoping to be put back into use someday.
