I like this composition and the soft, dreamy quality.

Jackie ... your "get-pushed" tag for this transposed the numbers and it's not showing on the current get-pushed page. Might want to fix the tag to 173 ...

@dmcoile @aecasey @shesnapped @rieva thanks everyone. I wasn't sure if the multiple items took away from the challenge intention or not.

What kind of light did you use?

@californialover here is the explanation of the lighting set up from all of the photos in this set of three: I actually used my softbox covered halfway across with a blanket to close off some light. then I added additional white sheer fabric on the other half to shut down and spread out the light. there was a bit of window light in the room. I also had a white board on the opposite side of the pomegranate to open up the right side a bit as it was dark. I did have to lift a bit of shadow in LR too.
I just have inexpensive soft boxes with huge bulbs in them.

@californialover the use of additional fabric over the lighting came from this man's video. I absolutely think he is amazing with light! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48h9UReeCyE

@jackies365 Thank you for the explanation, Jackie. I was wondering it that was window light. Very interesting! I am taking a class right now about how to use natural light indoors. In my new house, there are big windows everywhere. So it almost equally bright in every single room. I find it very frustrating. But I bet at the end of the class I will feel more empowered.

@californialover too much light lol! in that video he uses a scrim between the light and the subject creating a more spread out light. a very effective trick.

I just love how you processed this and the others - they look more like still life paintings than photos! Wonderful!
