I received this note in the mail yesterday. I shot a wedding reception as a favor for a friend of my sister. the wedding took place a month before and I was secure enough to just shoot the reception. I took 1000 photos that night, way more than the bride and groom were expecting. the groom's mom who asked me to do this (the bride's parents have both passed away sadly) wanted to pay me. I don't take money for my photography because I don't feel I am good enough to charge for photos. if people persist I just tell them to donate to a charity of their choice. Gail chose to donate to the center where I serve the homeless and to Karmanos Center which is a very large cancer treatment/research center in our area. she is a best friend to my sister who survived breast cancer. I've never been so humbled. so glad I was able to do something good with my photography. so glad they were so generous. #feedthehungry #findacure
