In Britain is Guy Fawkes Night since 5 November 1605 commemorated, when his effigy is traditionally burned on a bonfire, commonly accompanied by fireworks. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Fawkes
A great shot. I think, in Britain, we've all become rather confused about Nov 5th. Most young people wouldn't know who Guy Fawkes was, or that Nov 5th was historically associated with him. It's all just "Halloween" now... Thanks for reminding us!!! 😂
very cool
There's a growing call here to have the sale of fireworks to the public banned because of the danger, the injuries every year and the welfare of animals. I tend to agree.
@graemestevens I so agree with you, here people are not allowed to use fireworks in public places. I am sure it will be totally banned soon. Last year a whole village was wiped out due to fireworks!
