Almost there.... by jacqbb

Almost there....

Why o why, didn’t I close the curtains in the other room. Must have seen it, but it didn’t register......
I tried different times, glasses and lenses. Looked at the video from Amy Horn that Sylvia suggested, only I don’t own a separate flash and the one on my camera was much to bright. So I learned a lot today and wanted to show you there is some progress.
Are you unhappy with the reflections in the glass? Because I like them. They are like catch light in a portrait’s eyes. Love the execution of this. Very nicely done.

I had so many issues with this in thedarkroom! Much too many windows and we don't have curtains! I like the way you got the colours right and that little bit of light does not distract. You can always clone it out ;-)

Awesome!

Oh this is just right and perfect. The light from your windows doesn't detract from the perfection I think itenhances the curve of your glass.

You could spot heal them out and upload the improved photo?

Only looked at the light reflection because you mentioned it. Great result with this glass.

Goed gedaan, Jacqueline! Dit heb ik nog nooit gedaan, misschien ooit nog eens...

Nice one - well executed, I don't mind the window it just point out that this is probably not made in PS

oh yes, it makes some interest but I can understand you wanted flat colour

I don't like the effect in the glass

@bmaddock @koalagardens @runner365 @stiggle @wakelys @30pics4jackiesdiamond @louannwarren @ludwigsdiana @shutterbug49 Thank you all for your great comments, fav’s and for bringing this to the TP, all are much appreciated! I’m not quite satisfied with it and tried with cloning / spot healing to erase the light reflections but that didn’t work out. So as I said before still something to learn ;)

@yolanda Thanks, I don’t like it either but this is a learning curve for me :)

You. Oils always repeat it without the reflections. It’s surprising what we don’t see in our rush to get something right. The ones Phil & I did last week. The first ones had reflections, so we repeated it when it was darker.

@Jacqbb great attempt. Well done. You may be able to clone out the light in photoshop or any other software program you use? Or another option is to shoot later in the evening.

@carole_sandford Thanks Carole, I’ll try again when it’s darker.
@sprphotos Thank you Sylvia, cloning it out didn’t work so I’ll try again.
