Motion

At this moment there is a storm raging over our country. The larix in our garden, a respectable old tree planted around 1925, was moving in the wind. I hope this collage gives you a sense of the movement I saw.
In the photo on the right you can see a broken branche hanging by its finger tips. Such a branch has a diameter of a wrist and the length of 3 a 4 meters. Of course I hadn’t a camera in my hands when it sailed to the ground.
This challenge was set by Caroline.
@chejja Hi Caroline, Here is one collage for the challenge you set me.

@jacqbb Oh, I really like it. Challenge well met. Maybe state clearly up front in the description that you were challenged was to capture movement so people can see how well you met the challenge. Nicely done.

That's so very effective - a wonderful idea.

That is certainly an effective way to show movement - plus the colour of the stormy sky behind the tree.

@louannwarren @happysnaps @dkbarnett @robz @vignouse @carole_sandford @ludwigsdiana @koalagardens @wakelys @casablanca @chejja Thank you all for your great comments and fav’s!
We had some damage in the garden, a big piece of a very old hedera bush landed in the garden of our neighbors ( no other damage than to itself) and the larix shed a lot of its smaller branches.
