Oh! Rowan Tree, Oh! Rowan Tree, thou'lt aye be dear to me,
Intwin'd thou art wi' mony ties o' hame and infancy.
Thy leaves were aye the first o' spring, thy flow'rs the simmer's pride;
There was nae sic a bonny tree, in a' the countrie side.
Oh! Rowan Tree.
Home in bonnie Scotland for a couple of weeks, I was faced with a very rainy day! Spent about half an hour in the garden trying to get a nice shot of the rowan berries with raindrops on them Didn't have a great deal of success - BUT, I did like this one because a whole berry is reflected in the raindrop.
Brilliant.............love the reflection :)
Have a wonderful time in Scotland, we are going back next year as it will be our 10th wedding anniversary, after getting married at Adverikie Estate.
@amandal@pixiemac Thank you ladies! Well chuffed. :-) I had to google Adverikie Estate Sarah - it looks amazing. Have you seen the tv series 'Monarch of the Glen? Are you going back there next year or somewhere else? We have a home in Deeside, where we spend chunks of time when not in the US. Scotland's wonderful, but the weather is pants!
