I close my eyes and picture the emerald of the sea,
from the fishing boats at Dingle to the shores at Dunehea,
I miss the River Shannon and the folks at Skibbereen,
The moorlands and the meadows and their Forty Shades of Green.
The greens and detail of this shot are wonderful. Tour title reminded me a lesson my mom gave me many times as a child, and it was to admire the different tones of green in the landscape... never forgot it, and always apply it.
So simple...so gorgeous! @anazad511 I read this reply and said to my daughter (now 39), "was it you or your sister who tried to tell me mountains were *brown*?" She said it was she and how I went on and on about all the subtle coloration. I don't know that it was life-changing for her as it was for you... but I have a photo I took in the last couple days that I think I'll post because it proves my point! ...stay tuned!
