@skskunky The funny thing is Susanne, I had already taken the photograph, with a view to posting today anyway. I had a different caption on it though. Thought it was appropriate, especially for me, living as I do in the Parisian suburbs. Thanks for the FAV!
@seejillrun Thanks Jill for all your lovely comments on some of my past photographs. I missed quite a few days after we left the US - it was all just too hectic and so much need doing to our house that it felt wrong to even be thinking of photography! However, all relatively calm now (although new bathroom going in as of Monday ...). You'll also see that I fitted in a cycling holiday in Laos in November (booked way before we knew about the move) and more recently a week in London with my daughter, who is based in Phoenix now, for a year! You'll love London in July. It's such a vibrant city. SO many shows to go and see too. We did 3 in a week! Very expensive though. Make sure you buy tickets from the cheap booths in Leicester Square. I highly recommend 'Matilda'. I loved it and it's great for kids (although Fiona would be a bit young perhaps). 'Wicked' is also good.
Very beautiful shot, great detail and dof, fav. My heart aches for the victims, their families, and in fact for everyone who abhors terrorism and values freedom of speech.
@tristansmum@pixiemac And it goes on in a very strange way ... a policewoman shot dead yesterday, and last night an innocent man shot whilst out jogging - still alive, but not in good shape, apparently. Both incidents just south of Paris. Crazy, crazy times.
