Lovely shot ,I always feel sad packing away Christmas tree and decorations not because I love Christmas but because I wonder what will have changed in my life when by the time I get them out next year
@julzmaioro me too! These photos have me googling for some little people of my own,and as I imagine what I'd do, I'm taken back to The Borrowers, and my personal favorite from my childhood, "The Littles" by John Peterson.
@squamloon Checked out The Littles, and refrained from purchasing it, tempting though it was. It looks like a lovely childhood book. But I'm going to have to read The Borrowers! @gijsje
The Borrowers are fabulous, read them as a youngster and again as an adult. If I remember correctly there was also a movie made. On a lighter note Terry Pratchet wrote about the Carpet People that was also fabulous reading. I must get my little people out to do some modelling.
Saying farewell to the lights and sparkle, it's a sad occasion. January can be do dull, and all the more so when the holiday decor is packed away. I feel these Little People's anguish.
