Kensington Palace

On Friday I went to Kensington Palace to see the 'Diana' exhibition. A really interesting visit with beautiful gardens to wander around afterwards. This statue of Victoria sits at the front entrance to the Palace.
Oh I wondered if you were going to see the Diana dresses. I'd love to go - was it worth it?

@busylady Yes and no, Judith, to be honest. I loved the exhibition and it was cool to see her outfits, and particularly some of the sketches done by some of the fashion designers. However, there was a lot of standing in queues ... waiting to get in, to buy a ticket, to access the Diana exhibition, and then the slow procession around the various viewing areas of the exhibition. You need to be ready to stand a lot! I tried to buy an advance ticket, but they were all sold out. However, I'm glad I went, as I wanted to, and would have regretted missing it!

The heavy sky seems to echo the folds in her gown. A beautifully put together shot

Nicely done. I like the architecture and the statue and the swirly clouds behind.

Beautiful architectural background with the artistic view of the statue prominent. Just hit me you are in England - Duh...I was thinking the cyclists had a way to go. Congrats on the election results...hopefully a turning point.

Excellent POV and processing to put attention on her majesty. Despite being static, this has drama.

Really like this shot in B&W the statue stands out well from the darkness of the building, looks like it might just have been just cleaned.
