I went to Braemar yesterday afternoon, partly to see dad and brother and s-i-l but also to go for a walk and see the interior of a beautifully renovated cottage which sits high on a hillside with fabulous views over Braemar (part of DoorsOpenDays initiative in the north east of Scotland). The cottage didn't disappoint, although photography was difficult as there were always people around, and it felt intrusive. However, I got lots of shots around and about. This is the indicator which sits at the bottom of Morrone hill, indicating the individual Cairngorm mountains that you can see from this point.
Beautiful photo and the Open Doors event is lovely. I went to a little Episcopal church at Whiterashes on Saturday and it was delightful....but I forgot my phone and my camera!!!
