Loch Callater by jamibann

Loch Callater

Looking back down Loch Callater towards Callater Lodge, the building in yesterday's image. You can just see it at the other end of the loch. The moon is still shining brightly and the sun is thinking about rising. It's 08.20 am.
I like the lighting, enhances the sprinkling of snow. It looks quite remote.

@salza It is pretty remote. We never saw another person for the whole day, except on returning to the car park when we met a lady with her dog.

Looks as though you are taking this isolation seriously. How nice to be out in the wide open spaces

It's like the world belongs to only you two when you're out here. I can well imagine the peace and serenity felt in such a remote place of beauty.

Lovely - so chill, so brisk and just the best time of year to be out there walking, in my opinion!

You walked a fair way from the lodge photo in a short time....looks chilly but very beautiful. Amazing scenery in the snow .....such a healthy day spent walking in that brisk air!
