The deer detect you from a long way off. I guess they're used to being hunted and so are very wary. I liked how these were silhouetted by the wisps of low cloud and snow. Taken on Wednesday's walk.
Our girl's birthday today. 27. Can't wait to see her at Christmas. We haven't seen her for a whole year!

@s4sayer It's really difficult this year. We'll have both our kids over. Our son, from London, is self isolating for a while before he sees my dad, and our daughter is pretty much doing the same before she travels and will have to self isolate in Norway for 10 days on her return. Then there's the decision about Christmas day with my dad. We can't leave him on his own, but know there's a slight risk in him coming down to us, because of the kids being here. It's an impossible situation. We'll just have a handle it with as much common sense as possible. Thank goodness for technology which makes most things more bearable!

Am reminded of an old maxim...'when the going gets tough, the tough get going'. We’ve come this far...and our eyes are in the front of our head...and we must keep on going...anything else is denying life ;-)
