I took our daughter Mhairi up to Braemar today to visit dad, and as usual, we took his wee dog Freuchie out for a walk whilst we were there. No snow where we live, but a light dusting in Braemar, which made the walk very pretty. Inverchandlick is the name of the remote house in the background.
My neighbour has a dog just like your dads! It's a noise little beggar at times, it doesn't like birds apparently! And wouldn't you know it! Their adjoining neighbour puts out loads of bird food. This is a nice shot, one to perhaps get printed for dad.
What a lovely picture. This should be framed and placed on a mantlepiece. Love that smile and the overall colour tones. And of cours Freuchie is adorable too.
VML snow...in small quantities. None here...skies are clear enough to keep snow at bay, at least in the short term. VML Freuchie listening intently to Mhauri, he's a star!
Beautiful capture of Mhairi ...I haven’t heard that name before, I’m guessing it’s the Scottish version of Mary but could be wrong. Freuchie looks very happy to be up to your daughter where it’s warmer. She will enjoy a proper walk & your dad would be delighted for her to go with you. I love the intent conversation they are having!
Nice capture of your daughter and your dad's dog. I'm so glad your father is doing well enough to be at home. I can only imagine that he enjoys your visits and the visits of his grandchildren.
and duller background really works
