Sorry, another family photo ... but I do have a lot of catching up to do!!! Anyway, this is one of our regular walk/jogs over this suspension bridge near home in Ballater - Polhollick. You'll have seen it feature on my 365 posts before. Our youngest heads off back to London today. I hope they let him over the border!!!
That’s a thought....not encouraging fraternisation with the two countries just now! I love family photos so good to see this one....you will be sad to see your young ones depart! It’s a great place for a photo!
No apologies necessary for sharing this glimpse into your life. What dear people these are to you and I wish your son a successful return to London. Any word on whether your daughter will be able to depart as well, I wonder.
I enjoy the family shots- everyone is so happy! I do hope your son is able to return to his home, but if not, I know someone who will not complain about a few extra days with him! Good shot!
@happypat He made it home. We just have to get our daughter back safely to Oslo now ... starting with her newly essential coronavirus test today in Aberdeen - at a cost of 240 quid! More than her flights! Flying out on the 2nd, she hopes!
@lyndemc Hopefully she'll be ok as long as she gets her Covid-free certificate today and that she has all her necessary documentation (Brexit causing extra paperwork for her in getting back to Norway after 31st December). It's a challenging world at the moment.
@jamibann oh my word that’s extortionist...is that what we have come to in this newly frightening world! I fear it’s the start of many new traveling rules! Do hope it’s clear after all that! Oslo is a lovely place to live I imagine, not that unlike her home country perhaps!
Great photo! Love bridges for photos.
So special to have time together in the dark months....and at Christmas.
Hope son got back to London without any bother. Long drive but perhaps roads wouldn't be as busy as 'usual'.
