I was up in Braemar yesterday and took my camera as I knew I'd get some squirrel opportunities at the foot of Craig Choinnich. There were not too many around, as it happens, but this one little fellow was having fun being elusive. I stuck it out though and got him eventually in a typical squirrel pose! He pops a bit more on black.
Red squirrels even though very beautiful, it’s the lovely fine soft tails that I admire....you never seem to get a miserable thin tail as you do in grey squirrels!
